APPROACH

From conversation to calibration.

From conversation to calibration.

A private cinema is not a product you can buy in a week. It is composed across years — sometimes decades — of taste, travel, and a thousand small decisions about how a home should feel. Our role is to make those decisions land on the right side of beauty. The work moves in six stages, and we travel them with you.

We propose a single creative direction — never three options, never a buffet. A mood, a palette, a spatial sketch, a sense of how light and sound will live in the room. This is where the project becomes specific. We refine the direction with you until it feels inevitable.

Body: Before we design anything, we walk the room — or the building site, or the plans. We measure, listen, photograph. We ask about the films you love, the music you live with, the way the rest of the house feels. Discovery is slow on purpose: it is the only stage where assumptions are cheap.

An introduction, without obligation.

Before we leave, we calibrate the room — sound, picture, light, control — until everything performs as designed. We sit with you through the first screening, walk you through the controls, and leave a manual no one else will ever need to open. The relationship doesn't end here. We remain available for the life of the room.

We begin with a conversation. You share what you are imagining — the room, the house, the way you live — and we share how we work, what is possible, and what is not. If our worlds align, we propose a private visit. If they do not, we point you toward someone who fits better. No pressure, no deck.

Architecture, acoustics, AV, lighting, materials, furniture — drawn together as one document. Every detail is specified before we cut a single panel: the depth of the riser, the warmth of the fabric, the angle of the projector, the placement of every switch. If something is uncertain at this stage, we resolve it now, not on site.

We coordinate the build — either with our trusted contractors or alongside your existing team. Construction, acoustic treatment, AV installation, lighting, finish carpentry, upholstery. One studio, one accountability, one point of contact. The drawings become the room they were always meant to be.
